• Location data (for drivers: including background location, only during an active shift the driver started)

• Operating the platform
• Trip matching and optimization
• Improving performance
• AI training and automation
• Analytics and insights
• Enhancing user experience

BackSeat stores communications related to the platform and AI assistant only.

BackSeat does not access private communications outside the platform.

BackSeat does not sell personal information.

Information may be shared with third-party service providers solely for operating and improving the platform.

Users may request:

• Access to their information
• Correction of inaccurate information
• Deletion of information

Subject to applicable law.

Mobile app users can delete their app account directly in the app (Settings → Delete account). Deletion removes the access account, push tokens and login credentials. Operational records held by the employer / transport company are retained as required by law; for full erasure requests contact office@back-seat.app.

Information may be retained as long as reasonably necessary for:

• Operating the service
• Legal compliance
• Security and fraud prevention
• Platform improvement

BackSeat may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
